Carnival Spirit Class.

Carnival Spirit

The Carnival Spirit Class introduced a new way of defining cruising.  The ships of the Spirit-class have innovations as the two-level promenade and the reservations-only supper club.  Among the Spirit classes outstanding features is greater speed, which makes it possible for you to visit destinations that would take other ships 10 days or more.  These ships are 963 feet long, weighing in at 88,500 tons, sail at 22 knots, carry up to 2,124 passengers and 900 staff and crew.   The ships in the Carnival Spirit class are the Carnival Pride, Carnival Legend, Carnival Spirit and the Carnival Miracle.

The Carnival Pride offers a variety of sailings including Bermuda, Mexico Riviera, Panama Canal and Now Where Cruise.  The Pride offers 2, 7 and 14 day sailings.  With a ship as fast as the Pride, you have  7 day Caribbean itineraries not previously possible from Central Florida. The speed is only one of her the Prides many features. With a 11-story atrium crowned with a ruby-red glass ceiling, a reservations-only supper club, countless clubs and lounges, and an award-winning children's program, this is the perfect "Fun Ship" for any family vacation. The Eastern Caribbean itinerary calls on St. Thomas, St. Maarten and a private island in The Bahamas, while the Western Caribbean visits Key West, Belize, Cozumel and Progreso - Merida.

The Legend offers a wide selection of sailings that include 2, 6 and 8 days from Fort Lauderdale, New York City, Baltimore, and Philadelphia, PA.   The sailing public will enjoysailing aboard the Legend, one of the more imaginative new ships. Not only is this floating resort beautiful, she is faster than most other cruise ships, making it possible to offer you 8 day itineraries which would normally require a 10 day cruise. She also features a two-level promenade and a reservations-only supper club. The exotic Southern Caribbean route visits St. Maarten, Barbados and Martinique; the equally gorgeous tropical destinations on her exotic Western Caribbean itinerary are Belize, Costa Rica and Colon, Panama. Between May and October of 2003, she will sail from the heart of Manhattan to the Eastern Caribbean: San Juan, St. Thomas and Tortola - Virgin Gorda.

Carnival Spirit provides a variety of sailings from Bahamas, Hawaii, Alaska, Panama Canal, Souther and Western Caribbean and the Mexican and Baja of Mexico adventures.  The itineraries offer from 3, 7, 8, 12, 14 and 16 day sailing adventures.  The Spirit is the ship that introduced Spirit-class sailing and such innovations as the two-level promenade and the reservations only supper club. Among her outstanding features is greater speed, which makes it possible for you to visit destinations that would take other ships 10 days or more. Also remarkable is that 80% of her staterooms have ocean views, and of those, 80% have balconies, so you can admire that panoramic scenery from the comfort of your own private stateroom.

The Carnival Miracle offers Bahamas, Caribbean, Nowhere and Western Caribbean sailings from 2,3,5, 6, and 7 days.  The Miracle calls several ports home including Jacksonville, Florida, Baltimore, Maryland, Tampa, Florida.  The Miracle continues the tradition of unparalleled fun that Carnival is famous for. The newest Spirit-class vessel to join the "Fun Ship" family, she makes her debut from Jacksonville, Florida in March of 2004. Along with the distinction of being the first Carnival ship to sail from this homeport, she also brings with her such innovative amenities as a two-level promenade and reservations-only supper club. Also remarkable is that 80% of her staterooms have ocean views, allowing you to admire beautiful scenery from the comfort of your own private stateroom.

The Carnival Spirit class means more time for fun in the sun as only Carnival can deliver.
